Vic. Quilters Summer Gathering

Despite the prediction of a hot and windy day, around 150 people attended the Vic Quilters Summer Gathering hosted by MPPI. It was lovely to see so many happy faces throughout the day. Some enjoying the delicious food that was provided, many taking the time to make a few purchases from our visiting traders, others chatting with old friends or making new ones, and of course the lucky raffle winners.

Wendy Williams, our guest speaker, gave an array of stories of her life and how many of her quilts have come to fruition. All quilts Wendy had with her were walked through the audience for close viewing. Wendy makes the impossible seem possible and inspired many to take up a new challenge.
